EMDR

What is EMDR? 


Imagine your mind as a filing cabinet—normally, when things happen, your brain processes and "files" these experiences away. But sometimes, when something overwhelming or traumatic occurs, it doesn’t get properly filed. Instead, it stays stuck, continuing to affect how you feel and think.


This is where EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) comes in. It’s a powerful therapy that helps your brain reprocess these stuck memories. Through a guided process using eye movements, sounds, or taps, EMDR helps unlock the trauma, allowing your mind to naturally heal. 


It’s like giving your brain a chance to properly file away the difficult experience, so it no longer weighs you down. The best part? You don’t need to relive the trauma in detail. Instead, you can release it and move forward, feeling lighter and more in control of your life.
